Wishbone Neckpiece

This is probably my favorite student piece.  It is a neckpiece based on the structure of a wishbone.  It includes a tube rivet at the top which acts as a hinge.  The wearer must break the pendant wishbone area of the neckpiece in order to place it around their neck.  The pendant is hollow in back and includes two rare earth magnets so that it snaps closed and into the proper place once it is on the wearer.  It is approximately 10″ in length, with the silver pendant area at around 3″,  the width is approximately 6″ at widest.   Materials used include acrylic, epoxy resin, sterling silver and rare earth magnets.
