Pesade for Philippe Karl

As you may or may not know, I am an avid equestrian.  I particularly admire the work of Classical Dressage trainer Philippe Karl – here’s his website if you want to take a look.  One of Karl’s aims is to get the most effective work out of the horse, with the lightest of aids, so he founded his Ecole de Legerete or School of Lightness.  The School of Lightness trains riders and horses with classical aids and movements, including this one, the Pesade.  The Pesade is perhaps the highest form of collection and strength a horse can achieve.  I built this 1″ cast silver horse to send to M. Karl to show my appreciation of his work, and the encourage him to allow me to join his first clinic series in the US in Pennsylvania.  My fingers are crossed, but either way, this little horse is going to France to a new home!  I hope he is appreciated.  Here’s a gallery of other views of the tiny horse.
