This refurbished leaf brooch is gold plated with sea foam green flocking detail and a regular lever pin back.  It is approximately 1″ x 2″.  It was part of my thrift store sweep this past spring, when I got very interested in dressing up somewhat dinky vintage jewelry.

This is one of the first flocked acrylic pendants I made.  It is 2″ in diameter and 1/16″ thick.  It is dayglo yellow with baby blue flocking on an 18″ sterling chain.  This particular pendant is sold, but an identical replica could be produced.  I love the light caught on the sides of the flocked dayglo acrylic, this is why I work predominantly with very bright, dayglo or mirrored acrylic only – this light play and unexpected depth.

These earrings are little bit massive, and are clip ons, about 1.5″ x 1″.  I believe they are bronze.  I came across them in old city Philadelphia in a vintage shop, and couldn’t help but refurbish them and flock them this happy grass green color.  I love leaf imagery, and am always drawn to it.  I really like the subtle curves and edges in these earrings, that is why I chose to work with them.

Here is a small acrylic pendant inspired by the work of my friend, Ken Hill.  Ken is a marvelous abstract painter who studied with me at the Tyler School of Art.  These colors made me think of some of his triangular compositions, so I made this small necklace with him in mind.  It is baby blue flocking on transparent tangerine orange acrylic.  It is 1″ in diameter and 1/4″ thick on an 18″ sterling chain.  This necklace is sold, but a similar one could be produced upon request.

This pendant was created on a lark, and used to have matching earrings.  It is approximately 1″ long, on several silver jump rings and hanging from an 18″ silver chain.  It was laser cut orange acrylic with sun yellow flocking.  It’s lightweight, and light hearted, if a little too super hero for my usual style.

This brooch was found tarnished and dusty in a Lansdowne, PA thrift store after my father moved there last spring.  I love the woven quality, the asymmetry and the dimension in this brooch.  That is why I refinished it and flocked it in pink and orange.  It is gold plated base metal with a basic lever pin back.  It is approximately 1.75 inches in diameter.

These earrings are lovely hydraulic pressed formed refurbished vintage earrings I found in a now closed north Philadelphia thrift store.  They just wanted to be baby blue, so that is the color I flocked them.  They are clip ons, and have since lost their matching pendant, but still have a quiet grace and elegant form.  They are approximately 1″ x 1/2″.
